Rooted in student media. Building the future of college marketing.

We create the software colleges use to manage their media and connect it into one system that brands can use to reach students nationwide.

The backstory

College marketing was hard. We wanted to change that.

Campus media can be messy. A single campus can have a dozen media operators, each with different policies, formats, pricing, and frequent turnover. Without a unifying system, that complexity was impossible to manage at scale. Colleges lost revenue because there was no easy way for advertisers to integrate.

At the same time, brands are spending more than $70 billion annually to reach college students through channels that ignore the campus experience entirely — tapping at the window but left outside. flytedesk was created to connect those two worlds.

Our approach

Why our model works

Instead of owning campus media, we strengthen it by сombining institutional trust, student insight, and scalable technology into one system.

Empower college media

We help colleges grow and operate their media. We don’t own inventory or set policies; we support media on campus, without imposing outside rules.

01

Scale with technology

By investing in software instead of building a large agency or owning media, we created tools that are actually useful to schools and brands.

02

Listen to students

There's no such thing as a youth expert. When we want to know what students think, we ask them, and those insights shape our work with brands.

Our mission

To build a better future for college media

Started at a college newspaper years ago, flytedesk exist to support student media, strengthen campus ecosystems, and create a sustainable model that works for students, schools, and brands.
